orgasms and pain?

I have a question please... Does anyone experience bladder flares after having just an orgasm---no intercourse or penetration of any kind????

You are not alone. You might want to check into Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD)...once I got my PFD straightened out, my bedroom life is not as painful as it once was.

I am new to the diagnosis of IC...can you explain what PFD is? I am curious as I too experienced pain as described above.....any guidance would be great.

There are exercises you can do to help strengthen your pelvic floor. You should ask your urologist about this, there are tests they can run on you to see how your pelvic floor muscles are contracting and working.
