:) Since my trial surgery on the 13th my frequency has dropped from 30-50 times per day depending on flares down to 8-12 times per day so I'm thrilled with my success as well as my urologist and my Medtronic Representative. So Monday, December 27th, I am scheduled for the actual implant surgery. I've heard from the Rep that this shouldn't be as bad as the first surgery but I have my doubts because I'm such a wimp with pain, so prayers please. I'll get through it, I just have a feeling I'm gonna be sore for a while again. I'm just now starting to see my incisions healing but the one will have to be re-opened and that's where the permanent implant will go. I just hope they don't have the trouble putting me to sleep like they did last time, they told me it took 5x what a normal person would take to get to sleep so that scares me. I've already been told I can stay overnight if I wish but will see how I'm doing before I've made that decision.
Support and prayers needed...

The implant is a breeze. They knock you completely out for it.

I appreciate all your good luck wishes and prayers and I will hopefully feel good enough to post a thread to let you all know how I'm doing if not I will ask either Sarojini or Dixiefireball to do so for me.
Thanks again. I'm so thankful to have these message boards to be able to request support and prayers when needed.
I'm praying myself that all will go well. My Medtronic Rep seems to think this surgery will be easier then the last so let's all hope he's right and I don't have to stay over night as they're pre-planning for.
Thanks again, it means so much,
Tracy K.
