Hi everyone - I've been out sick for a while. It started with a bad ear infection and then a sinus infection. I was on a series of antibiotics and now I am having a massive flare - probably the worse so far (and I was doing so well!). It seems like everytime I have to go on an antibiotic - I get a bad flare. Any suggestions??? :bonk:

Usually antibiotics help us if anything....but there is an exception to every rule. My best advise would be to figure out if there is or was ever an antibiotic that didn't hurt you and try to stick with the ones you trust. I also would wonder if your flares were from the reason you needed the antibiotic not the antibiotic. I would do a search on the antibiotics board for others that were hurt by antibiotics and which ones didn't hurt them. I so hope you can find a non flare trigger way to take antibiotics. :grouphug:

Thanks. It honestly flares me worse than any food I could ever eat and I have tried dozens of antibiotics. They just don't agree with my system. Augmentin seemed to be the best. This last antibiotic was taken in conjunction with other meds. - steroids. So, maybe steroids aren't good???
I'm just trying to get through it and hoping I will feel better for Christmas.
