not tv exactly, but computer games

i figure we all spend a lot of our time on the computer, so i thought we could share some favorite computer games and the like.

my current addiction is neopets.com, it's an online "community" with virtual pets, games, and basically a whole virtual society. easy to waste hours there.

then for actual computer games, i like simulation games like Zoo Tycoon 2 and Tropico.

also there's Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, which is a game borrowed from my favorite LARP. (okay, okay i really like vampires and zombies!)

also Sid Meir's Pirates is a very fun game.

and you can't forget THE SIMS!

so c'mon, fess up, there's a teenage boy dying to play video games in all of us.

lol I have tried to play video games with my hubby and daughter but I am not that talented and get so frustrated at the hand controller because it doesn't move the was I want lol.

I will stick to solitare and slingo :)

I have a site I go to and play blackjack. -Not an on-line gambling site, just a 'free' game on the net based on strategy. It has pop-ups which correct you if you make a mistake in play. I use it to fine tune my memory prior to Vegas or Atlantic City trips where I love to play for real. -Hey, we all need a vice or two!

I love The Sims :) I have every game and expansion pack, and Sims 2 will be under the tree!

the Sims is soooo addictive. yipes. especially in the sims 2. you can fully design faces and everything

Hey DesolationAngel, I play Neopets too :) I've been playing it for over four years. It's cool, they really made a detailed little fantasy world. It's a great distraction from pain.
The other day, I found a site to play on when Neopets is down for maintenance, lagging, or when you've just been on Neopets for too many hours straight :lmao:

LOL, I found this thread cute, and only because hubby got Call of Duty for X-mas and he is driving me bananas with it. He get so into it that he tries to look around corners and turns his head sideways when the guy does on the game. LOL kinda hard with a flat panel monitor. Have fun everyone.

My favorite game to play is ZUMA You can find this on Yahoo games. I have wasted so many hours playing this, it's not funny! My friend at work saw that my addication was bad and for a Christmas gift she bought the game and we downloaded it at work. I had to delete that, cause I was playing too much at work and now play it at home. Much safer that way! Won't lose my job!
