I haven't been on here in awhile and just thought I would stop by for a visit.I have been feeling pretty good lately and staying busy. I hope all of you are doing ok. I found out a few months ago that I have diverticulosis, and the more meds I took the worse it seemed, so I stopped taking all of my pain meds, and the elmiron. I am doing pretty good without them. I have occasional abdominal cramps but not unbearable.I still am watching what I eat closely[I do have coffee and chocolate every once in awhile and it doesn't seem to bother me.] I messed up and thought that I was normal again at Thanksgiving, though and ate some cranberry sauce and I regreted it the next day,I also had some walnuts in my sweet potatoes, so I am not sure which one made me hurt.[I am not supposed to eat nuts or corn or anything that doesn't digest completely, with this diverticulosis] But I am feeling better now. I just thought that I could sneak a little bit in but it wasn't worth it. I have to adjust all my holiday recipes now. My new dh is doing well. Can you belive it? We have been married almost 7 months already! It doesn't seem like it. Well I will post again soon. Love you all.

Hi Patticake! So sorry you have diverticulosis. :grouphug: So I guess you can't take meds that have a coting that doesn't completely digest either???? I am so glad your IC isn't taking revenge on you for not getting elmiron or pain meds. Thank you so much for checking in and letting us know how you are.
