I finally am having my MRI Monday to check my pancreas. My GI believes I could have pancreatitis my blood levels have been high for awhile. It took awhile to get in for the Mri. Oh yeah and good news my arm was not broke but a bit of muscle damage. I knocked it pretty hard. I have been very busy @ work tis the season for hairdo's and not been able to be on as much. I wish I could say I am feeling better but both my IC and VV are acting up again probably due to work load for the season. I had a appointment with my specialist last week but he had emergency surgery so Iam scheduled for next friday to see whats next.
Happy holidays,
Kelly

Hey Kelly,

I hope your MRI gives you some answers, and I do hate how long it takes for these to get scheduled. I guess they are generally worth the wait though. I hope that your IC/VV do get under control and that any difficulties with your pancreas are solved with this procedure.

The holidays are so hectic and the month seems shorter every year. I am home with a typical migraine and forgoing an annual neighbors christmas party. The headache is enough to keep me wanting quiet and the comfort of my couch, but the stress of feeling badly about missing the party is weighing me down. it is another misunderstood pain and like IC, people think you can just "think" them away. :bonk:

I hope you are able to "think" away your discomfort and feel better soon. :)

Hi Kelly, I have had some problems of possible pancreatis in my blood levels and than by the time I get the test nothing shows up. I hope you are ok. I certainly hope you feel better soon and get some time to relax and heal. Happy Hollidays!

Kelly,
I am glad they are checking your pancreas if the levels have been elevated. Some of the meds we take also affect the pancreas too. I'm glad you're arm's not broken.

Yes Barb my GI did mention meds could cause levels to be elevated but when we started testing my levels I had not been on any meds for almost 6 months. Due to stomach issues at the time I quit all my meds. I also only need to take my pain meds on occassion which led my GI to think my meds are not the cause.
My father has pancreasitis he has stage 2 diabetis due to agent orange chemical used in the war. He had both his legs amputated and recently started getting money from the VA. His theory is most of my illnesses are past on from exposure but this has not been scientifically proven as of yet. I have researched this and many children were born with defects and illnesses and todate only one has been listed as being related Spina bifida birth defect.
I am thinking Katrina may be right as many times my doctors have suspected diseases or illnesses and find nothing. I will find out tomorrow.

ashley simpsons haircut is popular right now. Guys hair is getting longer but not as long as the 80's and color is dual colors both light and dark. Very popular is darker underneath and lighter on top. Were also seeing blondes buttery gold and pale.Thats around here.

The wise Katrina is probably right. I am getting my hair cut and colored this week to make myself feel better but am sticking with my fashionable layered mom bob. Losing the blond highlights, going for more natural auburn. I hope everything turns out ok, let me know.
