I was wondering if anyone knows of Dr. Rogi Wiygul. She is in memphis, tn. has anyone ever been treated by her. I am trying to look for an excellent doctor. I live in east tennessee. I have heard of two doctors in knoxville, but I want to get other peoples experiences before I spend money to see a doctor.
Thanks!

Hi there. :) Check with Sarojini on the boards, I believe this is the Urologist she sees and is extremely impressed with the care she receives from her. Send her a private message or I'm sure she'll respond to your thread. From what Sarojini has told me about her, she's the most wonderful, gentle, caring, IC Specializing Urologist you could possibly ask to see or have caring for you. I only wished I lived closer so I could have her care for me as well. :)

Good luck, but seriously send a PM to Sarojini on the boards and she will tell you all about her!

I have been in contact with several people on these boards who have her as their doctor. I have only heard good things about her. :)

I know whoever you decide to see will be a big travel thing for you.....but I'm just so glad you are going to find a great uro and get the meds you need.
Happy Holidays! :)

Hi there, I see Ragi Wiygul here in Memphis and have nothing but good things to say. She really is wonderful. She listens to me, fits me in in emergencies, answers all questions completely and gently, and is unafraid to treat my pain symptoms. It is not unusual for her to spend an hour or more with me at an appointment, and every appointment ends with a hug.

She treats me as an entire person as well. I have chronic myofascial pain syndrome and fibromyalgia, as well as pelvic floor dysfunction, and she treats those as well by doing trigger point injections and sending me to physical therapy. Her theory is that since she's never seen a bladder walking down the street on its own, it's best to treat the person as a whole.

In addition, she's extremely easy to reach by email and usually responds to me within an hour or so -- and each email is signed "Love, Ragi" as if she were my sister or my friend rather than my doctor.

I get incredible care from her, and if you're willing to make the trip, I'm sure you will not be disappointed with your visit.

Good luck :)

Sarojni,
Thanks so much for the reply to my question. She sounds like a great doctor. I am going to see my gyno next week. If he cannot help me then I will make an appointment with her. Do the trigger point therapies hurt? How many times a week do you have to do it? Thanks so much for your help!!!
