If you are interested in learning more about IC, please get a copy of Larrian Gillespie MD's book, You Dont Have to Live with Cystitis. Get the 1996 updated copy. Now, I know, we do have to live with IC, and she knows that. This book is about cystitis, but a lot of it is about IC. She is not saying it will go away, but she has done a lot of interesting research with her own patients, and makes the connections about foods, pain, antibiotics, all sorts of stuff that you will really, really understand. She listened to her patients, and did the comparision research from there. I know, 1996 is a long time ago, but believe me, you will see yourself there. By the way, I got my keeper copy, after renewing from the library a couple of times, for $2.88 plus shipping used on amazon.com. I hope that is ok to say here. Dr Moldwin's and this book are both my IC bibles.
