Sorry for the delay in answering, had a show to do, but am sooooo glad to be back home!

My surface of choice is portrait grade canvas. A little tougher to find, but I like the subtle texture. Lately I have been looking at Masonite though, thinking I should give it a try. It sure would be nice to get away from stretching canvas, and I'm thinking there may be even more advantages when it comes to framing.

Do you paint too?
