The TENS unit hadn't really been working for me in the placement my PT showed me, but I knew there were other possible placements for the leads - such as on the lower back, from below the tailbone to a few inches above the tailbone, kind of in the area where an Interstim would be stimulating.

Tried that this morning - worked WAY better than the other placement the PT had tried. I think I found a way to make my TENS unit work, god willing!

Maybe that means Interstim or the bion might actually work for me...same group of nerves after all....

:) I'm glad you found a place tha works for you, too. I need to know where you're putting the electrodes so I can try it. I'm scheduled for Interstim trial in a couple weeks and love to see if your placement would tell me what the trial might be like.

Hi, Tracy, kind of hard to explain without showing, but if you locate the end of your tailbone, I put one set of leads there, on each side of the tailbone (the pads almost touching) and then about 3-4 inches up, the upper set of leads, again on either side of the spine almost touching.
