Hey...what'dya guys think of this..? My pain has been getting worse and my chiro always works on the bones in my pelvis to open up the area. Yesterday, I treated myself...I went to full Massage first at his clinic, then to him so he had more time to work with me. The massage therapist worked me over, nicely. She, at his request, did some stuff to relax the muscles right inside my hip bones. When I went to him, I was a noodle so he just did the snap, crackle, and popping very easily. (normally, he spends half the appointment loosening me up enough to adjust me.) So, he did his normal "lining me up" then had 1/2 an hour to try some new stuff and he had been doing some reading on treating IC via chiro (as a supplementary care, not primary) He asked when the last time was I went to the PT for PFT. My insurance cut me off about May last year, and despite my best intentions to keep up on what I'm supposed to do, I've been depressed lately so things are just worse. SO...Greg (My Chiro) obviously cannot do the Intravaginal treatments...(I suppose he prob could, he's equipped but he has no female observer AND he and I are very good friends...it would just be too wierd.) So, he very gently pressed on my belly on the right unil I could tolerate it (like trigger points in PFD treatments)Then he started in with his elbow (had to hold me down with his left arm) but said he was really having to fight through major spasms in my belly muscles all the way to the floor of my pelvis. Then he did the same the same thing to the right. After I could breathe again, and the sweat stopped dripping off the table, he explained that he was trying to do PFT but from a different direction. He still hit those muscles, but had to go through much more "stuff". He also said my bladder was not symmetrical, but leaned off too the right. Didn't know if that meant anything but wanted me to check with the uro.

Anyone else had such a fun experience? The muscles in my pelvic floor are much better today, but my belly feels kinda punched. This chiro is so nice. Really is just doin everything he can do, and puzzles over this. Just knows that if he can structurally "fix me" I'll feel better. I just enjoy the hands on and the fact that I feel better for a few days after I've had the treatment. My husband gets irate. Thinks I'm wasting money becuase "it's not helping permanently" But it reduces my pain for a few days.

gotta go...have a good dayl

Kind of my thought. I woke up a couple times to go "wee" last night but the piercing pain that usually wakes me was gone. So, I could go back to sleep fairly easily. I just spent the day sleeping today. I laid down at 10 AM and just got up (2:30) I was going to do some house work today but I cannot muster up the enthusiasm to scrub the toilet. Think I'll do the mopping.
