Does sex feel any less painful after awhile with some medications or therapy??

Yes! Unfortunatly for me I always have to struggle with PFD interupting sex now but when I am good at my Physical therapy it is a big improvement from when I was first diagnosed. Now it bascially makes me feel like I have to go even worse but I do prefer that to the bladder pain.

Yes, it's very possible to have a satisfying sex life with IC --- just not when flaring. It takes a lot of experimenting, open communication, and lots of lubricant.
