Ok it's been a week with my Brittany Spaniel, she woke up Sunday with a huge mass with red streaks on her groin area, called the vet put her on Amox 500mg, by Monday afternoon she was in alot of pain and swollen on her left side groin and where she pee's was the size of a walnut. Our vet was out that day and took her to another vet who told me she had injured herself in the groin area, and had caused a female infection. She was given antibiotic injection and pills as well as pain meds. That even I noticed a discharge from her and called the vet again, who told me to hold warm compresses on her bottom. Today she is finally doing better, no mass, no red streaks, ,sweling is going down. I swear what we go through with our pets LOL. Even if they are spayed they are still able to get an infections, I really didn't know this.
