Help me explain my pain!

I am single but I have a boyfriend who's great. We aren't able to get together often because we both have kids. Sometimes when the opportunity for sex arises, I don't feel up to it becasue of a flare. It's hard for me to bring up the fact that sex is not a priority for me especially when we have so few opportunities. I feel like he may be thinking I'm losing interest in him and that's not the case. Tell me how I can explain that sex affects us and our pain. Maybe tell me your story so he will know he's not alone. By the way, I also take Paxil and that doesn't help the situation any! Thanks for your support!! :help: :bow: :kiss:

If you're not comfortable telling him that sex can be very painful for you, you might print out some information from the Patient Handbook to share. It's important that he knows that you love him, so tell him frequently.
