View Full Version : Anyone else.......?
Pay lots of money every month for a gym membership or yoga, martial arts whatever and then never seem to go cause you feel crappy? Since this most recent UTI and flares I've actually gotten less in shape since I rejoined tae-kwon-do.

I take dance classes for adults at a local dance studio. I find even when I'm feeling lousy once I get there, and actually get moving I feel much better. There was a time when I thought the classes were making me worse...but it was from Dasani water, the only brand they sell. I would flare on those nights and thought it was that until one night I brought my own water, and surprise! no flare. :bonk:
EEP!
I'm drinking Dasani bottled water all the time.....it's all they sell at work! Hmmmm.....
Ew is it because it is remineralized do you think?

Hey that's the water I have problems with....remarkable isn't it that it would bother us. You know that I can have a glass of beer and it doesn't bother me like that water. Strange eh? Try buying a membership on a monthly basis. It is more expensive than buying a bulk package but cheeper if you don't end up going.

i go to a gym with my friend. it costs $56 a month. its alot but worth it.
recently though me and my friend "froze" our account and its now $15 dollars a month. also if you have a medical excuse, you can freeze your account for free! i was thinking about that, but i decided i have my doctor write me enough notes as it is.
i really loved going to the gym, it made me feel better and made me eat better even! i loved the results and when i got my free personal trainer thingy it was amazing. then this whole ic thing came up and i couldnt do certain things like inner thigh machine (horrible!) and some other things. im now thinking of getting a job there and that means free membership!
i have a mild case of ic so im not sure for those who have pain to waste money on a gym when you might not go alot. i would defiently invest in some yoga and pilates dvds they are great and walking around the neighborhood on nices days is nice. also some gyms have a free trial, so maybe you can try it out for a week and see how you like it. usually you feel all crappy and tired but once you step in the gym you seem to get a postive attitude and want to work out.
