Oldest daughter, Shari, has made friends with a deaf gal who just recently began coming to her church. E.H. is in the hospital with severe depression, (she cuts herself.) Her husband, M.H. is an alcoholic and drug user. He sobbed on Shari's shoulder after visiting his wife this week, and is absolutely davastated. Shari is caring for their 11 year old daughter, Kathleen, who was so violently raped at 7, that she had to have surgery. Both of their cars are out of commission, and they are having severe financial problems.
The second family are being evicted from their home. This single mother, A.H., is from Jamaica, has three boys from 4 to 16, and will not get involved in any kind of government assistance. There is much more to the story, but Grams is simply asking her spiritual family to pray that the God of the impossible will prove Himself to be faithful in these humanly hopeless situations. Bless you all for your love and prayers, and may we celebrate Thanksgiving in our hearts for our everfaithful and lovingkind, God's mercy and grace all year round. Grams
