Who do I have to see to find out wht is the root cause of this horrible pain?

This is just making me insaine. Is it possible that a little "spot" on my cervix can be causing such horrible pain? In my pursuit of an answer the doctors keep comming up with different problems but not ones that will solve my current problem. I have very sharp pains in the vaginal area. Especially before and during my monthly. Usuallyh on the left side. My periods are so abnormal right now as well it never has been before. Sometimes they last for 3-5 days and then other times from 9-11 days. I just don't know with everything else going on. I haven't found a medicine to take down the inflammation from the arthritis eitherr. Will it ever end? Oh well anyways I think it is a little weird that a little spot on my cervix could be causing such havoc. I don't know anymore. Anyways just wondering if anyone can relate or shed some light on this issue? Take care - Chris

Have you been diagnosed with vulvodynia? It does sound like that could be part of the problem. You'll find information in the Patient Handbook at http://www.ic-network.com/handbook --- I don't have this problem, but hopefully someone who does will have some suggestions.
