Anyone have side effects from Elmiron?

For the first time ever in my life I had high blood pressure. I usually have very low blood pressure so I was shocked. Could this be from the Elmiron?

I doubt it --- are you on any other medications?

The only other medication I am on is an anti-depressant. I am in a terrible flare right now and my doctor thought it could be the ER doctor thought it could be the stress of the flare, but the ER doctor knew nothing about Elmiron, so I thought I would ask...

When I tried to take elavil, an antidepressant, it did a "reverse action" on me and my blood pressure shot up to over 200 over 110 --- very frightening. It was an unusual response, but my doctor said it sometimes happens. You might check into whether your blood pressure could possibly be from the antidepressant.
