Why can't my son understand?

Had a family get together. My son came up from Southern Calif. It seems his time was very limited and could only meet at my other son's house which I could not ride to. Too painful. I already rode in a car yesterday with pain. The kid won't understand and takes offense!!! It is very upsetting. Comments?

It can be very difficult for young adults to understand their parents can have physical problems. They have looked to their mother for strength all through their growing years and are probably in denial. They may not want to accept any weakness in your health --- and feel that if they ignore it, it will just go away.
