Rain....

...rain go away and please don't come back another day!!
It was been raining alot for the past 2 weeks, and I woke up early yesterday morning and found the carpet was soak and when I looked up at the celing it was leaking - near my ceiling fan. I put a bucket there and when I woke up I emptied it, also when I got home from work. Called my insurance company and they just called back today, telling me they will be at my home next Tuesday. In the meantime, my husband put a piece of tarp paper there and hopefully it will hold it. It suppose to rain some more between now and then, hopefully not as bad (we had over 6 inches of rain!!)

Oh Mary I am sorry that you are getting "wet" inside your home. I hope that it's stops raining long enough for you to get dryed out and the insurance company to come so you can fix it.

Yeah, it has been a wet year here in TX this year. We had almost 4 in. yesterday in FT. Worth yesterday.

I wish we were lucky enough to be getting rain, but it'll start snowing soon I imagine. I hope it's a short, mild winter! (Yeah right, wishful thinking)

Sounds like an awful mess, Mary, I hope things go smoothly with the insurance company, and that the weatherperson is wrong!!!

Jess..I am wishful thinking with ya. I sometimes wonder why I live in this climate. I did live in Hawaii for 3 years and believe it or not by the 3rd year I was missing the snow. I loved Christmas on the beach though.

Just don't anybody send any rain to Oregon --- we have plenty, thank you. This afternoon I had to go out and help my husband round up two stray sheep and I got soaked through my coat. I want summer and I want it NOW!

I live outside Fort Worth,Tx. and I am so tired of the rain I could scream. It is not helping my attitude on things while I try to cope with a two week old flare and a UTI.
