Katrina, I know that you take Neurotin as well as Prelief.
When I was given my prescription for Neurotin at the pain clinic, they told me that Neurotin shouldn't be taken with antacids. They weren't sure if the Prelief that I take would have an adverse effect on the Neurotin.
What are your thoughts? Are you okay with taking both?
Thank you for your time :)

I'm not Katrina, but here's what I found on the web this morning:
"Antacids will decrease the amount of gabapentin [generic name for Neurontin] that is absorbed in the stomach. Do not take gabapentin for at least 2 hours after a dose of antacid."
The site also said to be sure that you are carrying or wearing something that tells others you are taking this medication!

Hi!
Prelief is calcium glycerophosphate and calcium may interfere with the efficacy of some medications. I am not familiar with Neurontin; you might want to check with your pharmacist.

All I can say is I am on many antacids and Neurontin and all my docs are given that info and no one had said anything....if they have it was just to beware. Neurontin has still helped me with Prelief in me.
