Bleeding

Does anyone ever having unusual bleeding? My periods are terrible over the last year and I start to feel what I assume is a flare the week prior to my period. The day my period arrives I'm in agony. I had my period on Tuesday...it was pretty much gone by Thursday...and then on Saturday came back and I was in unbareable pain. It was bright red and the cramps I felt were enough to bring me to my knees. I was taking vicoden to get through the day. My boyfriend thinks that this may not be related to IC, since I'm bleeding vaginally...what does that have to do with IC? Can anyone offer us some insight. Thanks in advance...

Sounds familliar...my periods have been really heavy and painful lately and here today gone tomorrow...then back. Tell me what you find out and I hope you get to feeling better. Hugs!!!

Definitely sounds like a call to your gynecologist is in order. Let us know how it goes!

It is very normal for women ICers to flare before and during their period. As far as the bleeding goes, I would call your gynecologist, and book an appt. It might be something simple.

I had that kind of periods before endometriosis which is very common for ICers....Like everyone says talk to your gyno ...unfortunatly you may have IC and something else:(

:grouphug: Sending you a supportive hug, that's about all I can offer. I no longer have periods because I had to have a total hysterectomy at 28 years old. I sympathize with what you're going through tho and wanted to just offer some support and send you a big cyber group hug. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you...
