Birth control pill options

Hi gals,
I was diagnosed with IC a few months ago and I'm also not on any birth control pill right now. My Gp took me off the combination pill a couple of years ago because she felt that it was causing me to have high blood pressure. Anyways, she put me on a progesterone only pill and it seems like that is when my IC symptoms started to happen. I have since went off of that pill and now I'm on nothing. I'm wondering if I try a combination Pill if it might help my ic symptoms of burning a frequency. Just wondering what pills everyone is on and how they find them? I'm willing to try them again and see if it effects my blood pressure because my blood pressure has been good and also to see if it might help my ic

I developed IC after quitting a birth control pill I'd been on for 10 years (Necon 1/35). I did not want to go back on it due to side effects, but did go back on it about 3 months ago. 3 weeks after starting it (when some of the side effects also came back) the constant IC burning eased up significantly. I still have IC, but it's not as bad as it was.

I did Depo Provera shots (mostly progest.) and I had the worst flares...then I went on combos, like the pill, or the patch, and still flared. I went off, and my flares improved. IC is so odd!!
