I was wondering if anyone is taking seasonal? It's a birth control pill where you have only 4 periods a year. My Mom was talking to this girl at work that has IC and she takes seasonal. She said it's really helpful for her because she flares up really bad during periods. I flare up extremely bad during my periods as well. I was thinking this might be better. Just having extremely bad flares 4 mo. out of the year instead of a bad flare every mo. Chelsey

Not I know but I know there are many out there that do that or some other way to keep from having periods to help their IC. Certianly helps mine!!!! There are options out there besides that birth control pill but doing something in that area has helped many!!! Good luck!!!

I have been taking Seasonale & it has been awesome not having to go through all of that every single month & when I do go through it on the 3rd month, it's not near as terrible as it used to be - much lighter & shorter & less painful periods. It's a lifesaver & I would recommend it.

Thanks my Mom's friend was saying the periods were much lighter. I'm going to ask my GYN about it. Right now I am on Yasmin. Chelsey
