Hi guys..I havnt been on in a long time! Got my IC to "okay" and was doing well/really able to deal with my symptoms and go on with my life, but these past few months REALLY bad burning/stining in my vaginal opening and urethra. Intercourse is impossible - very frustrating to my BF and I. (I mean I'm obviously still very much off and on about intercourse with my bladder pain and now this..) - went to my Doc who did a pap (normal) and cultured to find strep b and also found a lot of WBC's in my uterus....gave me some cleocin cream to use in my vagine but the symptoms didn't really stop....went back and theres still a lotta WBC's in my urethra...she says it's telling her theres a lot of inflammation and did the cleocin cream again and told me to use cortisone cream externally....but its not helping.....

Does this sound like vulvodynia? What do you guys do for your symptoms?

I have Vulvar Vestibulitis, I had the q-tip test done and became inflammed. I flare during, before, and after my period, and elavil usually helps me with this problem, but I can't take it, so now it's just suffer through it. :( I hope you can find something that helps you!!
