i think you can check with the comapny that sells/makes the cystaq.

i think they take out the acid properties, if i am not mistaken.

i take it.

no problem....

I just found this quote while looking through the ICN shop for info on CystaQ: "Contains Quercetin, Bromelain, Papain, Black Cohosh, Skullcap, Wood Betony, Passionflower, Valerian & Cranberry Powder. Please note that the cranberry is not in an acidic form."

HTH!

I feel much better about taking it now. Let's hope it actually does something. . .

I waited a long long time before I broke into my sample bottle of Cysta Q. I was desperate one night when nothing else worked. Well guess what........I think it is working. I don't think it is healing me, necessarily, but I think it does help. Then, I used up my samples and then ordered three bottles at once from ICN. It was cheaper than on the Cysta Q site at the time. If anyone is interested, here is the link...you have to scroll to find it: Cysta Q (http://icnshop.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl?command=goto&file=Alternatives.html&rtn=jb)

I hope it continues to work.......anyone else????

Hugs Julie B :)

I was wondering if anyone out there who has tried the following:
(Cysta Q, Algonot Plus 3 in one, cystoprotek - Algonot Plus 5 in One, Desert Harvest Aloe, & PH Control), can tell me if these are very large tablets to take? I am thinking of trying some of these, but I have problems swallowing tablets that are the size of "Multi-Vitamins". I don't have a problem with pills the size of Advil, though. But if they are too big, then I can't get them down. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
Thank You,
Kim

Hi Chainsaw:
I take Cytoproteck, the capsules are kinda big.
I freeze them before I take them (they made me sick @ my stomach @ first). The directions said to freeze them if they made you sick - it really helped.

The Cysta Q (http://icnshop.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl?command=goto&file=Alternatives.html&rtn=jb) capsules are about the size of a caplet of Tylenol. I don't have problems swallowing them............it is still helping........I would also be open to trying the CystoProteck...........has anyone tried one for awhile and switched?

Did the original poster (I can't see the screen name here in my browser) eventually take the CystaQ? If so, how did it work for you?

Which do people find is better, more helpful: cystoprotek or Cysta Q? I've been taking Cystoprotek, and I think it may be helping, but I've only been on it for a few weeks. I'm new to all of this. Any thoughts? Could you take both or would that be too much Querticin? -- Thanks! Kate

I called Farr Labs the manufacturer of CystaQ. This product contains nonacidic cranberry powder. Just like people can buy nonacidic vitamin C. I will be starting my 4th bottle of CystaQ. While I don't think it has taken away all my symptoms such as burning during my period or still being a pee pee body. I think it has helped with burning that I was having all of the time.

I wonder though if Cystoprotek would eleviate all my burning? Although, CystaQ is supposed to help with vulvodynia while Cystoprotek doesn't.
