I'm SOOOO excited I just had to share!!!! The hubby and I have been working with an awesome Ragdoll breeder for about a year learning the ropes of showing and breeding (let me tell you, with IC it's fun finding bathrooms in show halls :toilet: ), and I'm going through pics and pedigrees right now of her available kittens and picking out two little girls. We are going to get our baby girls at the end of November!!! We are going to show them as kittens and young adults and then breed for our first litters late 2005 or early 2006. Our breeder is even going to keep back a male kitten and show him to a grand champion for us (showing is $$$$ :yikes: ) and then we will get the boy maybe July or August of '05 in time to breed the girls after they get their championships. I can't WAIT to bring the babies home, and then to start showing them!!! And it's going to be so funny to see what Riggs (our male Ragdoll alter) and our two dogs think of the little fuzzballs :). There are pics of Riggs and the pups on our site (link below), and as soon as I decide on two girls and a boy (she has about 10 kittens right now, and it's SOOOO HARD to pick), I'll put their pics up too :).

Thanks for letting me share!

I checked out your site, how cute they are. I would have a cat in a heart beat, but my daughter is so highly allergic to them, and I just could throw one outside to live either.

They are so cute and adorable, I know you must be anxious to have them home with you. Loved all the pictures, thanks for posting, Iris. :) :cat: :flower:

Leslie, ugh, I hate that so much for you and your daughter :(. I'm also allergic, but I manage with a jet engine air filter and Allegra. I could never, ever give up my babies!!! My critters are so much a part of my life.

Thanks for the kudos, everybody :). We'll be taking them to their first show in January! I already have such big plans, lol.

Hope everyone is having a good IC day! (Is that an oxymoron, hehe)

What adorable little babies (even the big ones). I'm an animal lover through and through. We had our first cat (as a married couple) live to be 20 years old. She was part Maine Coon. I wasn't going to get another pet because after 20 years how can you? Well that lasted all of one month when we got our puppy, a little pomeranian and my baby. We rescued her sort of, long story I won't bore you with, next thing you know we got a couple of brother kittens because I had two children who couldn't decide on one kitten. I'd have taken all four of the litter if I thought I could get away with it. Then I came home one day with a cat I rescued from one of the local shelters. She had been hit by a car and had been in the shelter for a long time. I just couldn't leave her there, poor baby. As a matter of fact today is her 1st year birthday with us. I brought her home and my husband took one look at me, put on his hat and walked out the door. She knew how to win him over though. That night she snuck into our room, climbed up onto our bed and under the covers and curled up with him. Smart girl!

I did some investigating of the Ragdoll and would love one, but I'm afraid I'd end up living in a tent in the backyard if I bring home so much as a cricket. My husband is always tell me that I can't save the world (kids or animals).

You could never bore me with rescue stories!!! I could go for hours about Riggs, Gage, and Ayame (I'll try not to :)). As a breeder, I will be screening my pet homes *very* carefully and any of my babies will always be able to come back home to me, no questions asked!

I can sucker my hubby into pets, lol. We are both crazy animal lovers. He's more of a cat person than I am!

You *should* get a Ragdoll :D. They are the perfect cats for multi-pet households (I feel bad that Riggs has to stay home alone during the day right now).
