Botox again!!!

The last injections I had last march, and I did well about my PDF problem. But I have been in a very big flare for 2 weeks, and I´M DESESPERATED!!!!, today I had a culture and shows that I have an infection grrr!!!!!

Well, next thursday I´ll have the injections. My dr is going to put in my urethra and in the vagina, only 100 units, 50 in each part. He is going to do the hydrodistention and an electrofulguration at the same time

Good luck with the injections. I have my first infection. My doc missed it for weeks and I had to go to the hospital so go with your gut if you think something is wrong. I was in so much pain I thought it was my appendix. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs and love.

Thanks to everybody!!!

This time was the most painfuly, I don´t know if was the Botox, the fulguration the hydro, the infection or all together

Anyway, my dr saw contracting (??) my neck bladder and he said is because of the contracture in the plevic floor

He put Marcaine in the vagina for help with pain

I feel very tired, I continue in my home, and I hope return to my office next wednesday

Cindy: I hope this time Botox help you so much, ok???

Kristin: I´m so sorry for you, and I hope that the infection goes ASAP, I´m taking cyproxina (I don´t know the name in english) and I have to stop on Nov 10, and 10 days later I have to do another culture. And you??

Infection is gone for now. I hope it stays away. I'm back at school after I missed two weeks. It really messed up my plan to graduate in May. I 'm too afraid to tell them because they will be disappointed. I'm looking at December for the next botox. Going to try the pelvic floor this time. So I'm feeling much better my doc kept telling me I didn't have an infection and the botox must not have worked but I'm back to the botox working. I feel better know that i know it was an infection they missed for weeks. How does that happen?

Hi Kristin!!!

So your Dr thinks that you didn´t have an infection?? did you had a culture??. I have had my IC for 12 years, and all the times I felt that I had an infection, but the cultures allways were negatives. This is the second time that I had an infection, and wow!!!, is incredible the pain I feel!!!

I hope have the Botox again in another 8 months

Cindy: You and me use to have the Botox at the same time, when was your last time??

They test my urine everytime I come in but if it comes back negaive hey don't culture it. My first infection I guess got by under the radar.
i had to go to the hospital the pain was so bad the er docs thought it was my appendix. I was glad to hear it wasn't. Take care of yourself. Thanks for checking in with me. Good luck with the new injections
