Wow, I think I'm feeling better again!! I had c/h thursday and boy my bladder went into spasms! Worst I ever have had. :woohoo: But now 2 days later I am feeling much better, my bladder is still sore (must have been the DMSO). The urge/freg is MUCH better - only 5 times today (which is unheard of - it is usually 17 times by now). Isn't that weird? Had to have the doc call me in some darvacets, the vidodin made me sick and dizzy. Anyway wanted to let you all know. Wanted to thank you all for listening to my whinning. I find it really odd that finally I have found people who understand what it is like to have to go all the time and actually talk about it!! LOL :woohoo:
Yay!! That is wonderful!
We all whine from time to time, so whine away. :)

Honey, I've been whining for the past couple of weeks, so I understand totally! I'm STILL in pain after having my cysto/hydro on the 7th this month. I guess it sent me into a bad flare. Not sure though what happened and why. I'm feeling a little better these last couple of days since I got my uro to call me in some pyridium and I also started taking prelief with food. Not totally pain free yet, but definately an improvement.
I'm glad you're feeling better!! Never feel bad about "whining". No one understands it more than the people who deal with the same pain that you are. :grouphug:
Hi, yes we all understand and have to have a whine now and then, it is nice to be able to know that others know exactly what is feels like, dealing with IC 24/7, makes a whole lot of difference , I know it did with me, take care, and hugs Iris. :hi: :grouphug: :flower:

Yes, who'd have ever thought one's bladder could cause so much grief! Through twenty some years I never came across anyone else who was experiencing the same symptoms as I, and I truly felt alone. Kind of in my own little horror story, that no-one on the outside had any real concept of! It was a tremendous relief for me to meet and talk to others who know what living with IC is like!
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Hopefully this is just the beginning of many 'even better' days ahead!

Just a line to say my daughter who is away @ school called and wanted to know how I was feeling since the h/c. She has been with me alot when I would have my famous "pee attacks". She would actually get mad @ me sometimes and say something is wrong with you NOBODY has got to go the bathroom like that. Anyway, h :bonk: er first question after that was IS THIS HEREDITY?

Trishie, my parents still don't understand I.C.. and I have had it for 38 years..
When I told my dad how great I was doing with the bladder treatments and medicine, he told me " That's good honey" "You just need to get out of that bad habit of going to the bathroom so much."

IMUSTPEE (love that name)
I can relate, lots of people don't get the bathroom thing. I don't even like to take about it, (unless I am on these boards). I get sick of people asking stupid questions (like didn't you just go the bathroom) LOL

I am the Queen of " Excuses for going to the bathroom"..I was always ashamed of needing to go so much more than everyone else, so I would think of reasons to go...sad huh? "How can you POSSIBLY have to go pee when YOU JUST WENT"!!!!! gRRRRRrrrrRRR

lol at the bathroom thing! :biglaugh:
I'm always making up excuses to go to back the bathroom to keep people from asking me why I pee so much - such as "I think I have something in my eye".
Even my dear sweet supportive hubby will make a comment when I just get out of the bathroom and have to pee again before I sit back down downstairs. I've gotten to where I don't even have to say "dangit I have to pee again" anymore. Apparently I get a certain look on my face and he recognizes it and always says "ALREADY?!?!"..
"No sweetie pie, I just like the feel of the warm toilet seat"...
