Hi everyone.I know that it has been a very long time since I have been on the boards.I have been dealing with a lot of personal problems of my own as well as helping my mom cope with her ic. :( .Well when mom had the botox injected for the first time she had 200 units injected in her uretha sphinter only which caused a lot of retention.She had to have a foley in her for about a month in order for her urine to come out :mad: .Then her uro was dealing with a lot of personal issue's herself so she was in and out of town.She is the only uro here that injects the botox and we cannot afford to travel anywhere to get another uro to inject it.She is a nice dr but she can be stubborn and does have a LOT of patients (people comming to see her).It was back in april or may when ma has this done.Now she will be having it done tuesday :thumbsup: .Her uro is going to inject 100 in the bladder,50 in the pelvic floor,and 50 in the uretha.My mom has problems with bladder pain,the need to urinate every 15 minutes,she strains to urinate because when the urges hit her every 15 minutes it will hit her BAD it feels like that her bladder is about to explode :toilet: .She is rest broken from getting up every 15 minutes to try a urinate because of the horrible sensation.This is her second time having the botox injected.I am hoping that this will help her since she will be getting the 100 injected in her bladder and the 50 injected in her pelvic floor.My mom will be the first patient that this uro has injected the botox into the pelvic floor.But she has been taking biofeedback/physical therapy and that is not working :cussing: .My mom also has a mild case of PAD so she will not be able to take the physical therapy anymore anyway.I pray that this works this time.I need my mom back.As far as myself goes I have been dieting and exercising since april.I was 298 and now I am 230 pounds :party: .So I have been struggling with my weight issue but it is comming off slowly but surely :) .I will let you all know how everything goes next week with my mom.Please say a prayer for both of us.I have always been obese all of my life and I am now doing something about it.I nearly died because of my weight problem.I am only 5ft so you could imagine how I felt.Please pray for my mom :pray: and I will let you all know how things are going next week.
