For those of you who haven't heard about this movie, it's a documentary about a guy who ate nothing but Mc Donald's for 30 days. It's pretty interesting to see the effects their food had on this guy's body. He weighed 185 at the start and went up over 200# at the end (I believe he gained just under a pound a day.) Rent this one-it'll make you not want to eat fast food for awhile.

That movie looks so gross. Maybe I should rent it that way I won't want to eat fast food anymore. Chelsey

Extremely interesting movie! I will NEVER eat fast food again because of this movie. I am also starting to read Fast Food Nation, which will help me stay away from fast food.
Yep, after I read Fast Food Nation it was months before I ate in a fast food chain again. And even then I never went back to eating it regularly because of that book. I also just saw SuperSize Me & thought it was pretty eye-opening (and rather disgusting in parts!) I highly recommend it, especially for teenagers to see... They have no idea what they are doing to themselves, eating so much of that stuff.

I'd like to read that book-is it a movie as well?

On the subject of "Fast Food Nation"...
If you read the chapter "Success" about Dave Framster, then you are reading about my mom's cousin!
If you have not read it, it's a good read!

I'll have to look into that book...McDonald's is a weekly meal in our house--except for me now! Since I've seen that movie, I can't bring myself to eat anything they have to offer! (My diet is thanking me now LOL)

Interestingly, my high school physiology wanted to see the movie. Needless to say, we had quite a discussion after watching it. We also started wearing pedometers to get baseline data and then next week we will try to modify our habits to get the recommended 10,000 steps per day. Me too. They challenged me to join them.
