View Full Version : Has anyone tried Chinese Herbs
Has anyone tried the chinese herbs sold from the ICA website. They claim the President of the ICA is a reference and they have an 80% success rate. If that is so, why haven't I read of anyone's experience with this?

I tried the look up the information on it but could not find it. I wanted to refresh my memory before responding
I guess I will have to rely on my memory. I beleive this company is connected with Dr. Whitmore from Philadelphia. (Anyone correct me if I am wrong). What I remember was you have to take them for a long time and it could be rather expensive buying that much. Too expensive for me.
About 15 years ago I went to a doctor from China that did Accupressure and gave me Chinese Herbs. The taste was terrible but I put up with it for many months. It did nothing to help me. I did continue with her while she did accupressure. It also took months but wow did it help. We went on to accupunture which did nothing.
I lost track of her after she moved to Philadelphia. I tried to find her but was unable to. I have had accupressure and accupunture from others but it was not the same.
Anyway, I know I did not answer your question. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

farr labs sent a free bottle --had to pay 5 bucks for s&h.
my sister-in-law goes to a dr. wang for herbal stuff in vermont. she is in western mass. 1/2 hour drive. he gives her tea leafs to boil for other ailments.
guess you gotta find someone good who can give ya stuff tailored to, you, the person in general.
good luck....

I have a call in to into Dr. Christine Whimore, who was listed as a reference on the web site.
I am hoping I hear back from her. Since her name is associated with this I am very interested. They are claiming a large success rate. I'll post when I know.
I spoke with Dr. Whitmore's office and she endorses the product and said it works 65-70% of the time. That's higher than elmiron or anything I've heard. I ordered two months worth. They said it doesn't react to any medicines so I'll stay on my existing cocktail. It's hard to tell what works since I've had 6 infections in 6 months and they don't know why. It's so offensive when the doctor actually asks, "Do you wipe front to back?" I just say, "you know, I've been doing it the same way for 45 years."

Yeah I tried Chinese herbs 2 separate times - one that was in the ICA newletter a few years ago and some from the acupuncturist. No luck for me - just a whole in the pocket. Sorry
