Help!
I can't find who posted about this new medication. I did a little bit of research and it's just been approved since Sept......Has anyone tried it yet? I see my shrink on Tues and would like to know what I'm talking about when I ask him about it~

Hi, Teri-

Cymbalta is the most recent AD I have tried to control both IC and IBS, along with anxiety problems. My experience wasn't so good. The dr. started me out slowly--on 20 mgs., but my bladder reacted horribly right away. That is usually me, though. We generally know in two days if it will work or not. Now, I have noticed on here that several use AD's with no bladder symptoms becoming worse. I just am not one of those blessed people. We are all different. You could be one that will respond very well to it. I hope I helped a little bit. Wishing you good days.

Hi Teri I am currently taking Cymbalta. I am taking 30mg a day. The only side effect I have noticed so far is very mild nausea and that has stopped the last couple of days. I did notice a difference in the the way I am feeling in about 4 days mentally and also my pain level has decreased to a much more tolerable level. It seems my depression was getting the best of me cause I have been feeling a lot better since taking this new medication. So far anyway.

Teri, I am on cymbalta 30 mg a day and I love it! It has given me a whole new life in regards to my depression and anxiety. I have to take it at night because it was making me sleepy during the day. I havent noticed any change in pain yet but I just got diagnosed with IC so I am just now starting treatments. Good luck and I hope it helps you!

I Had To Actually Go Off Of Cymbalta, Because In Combination With My Other Medicaions It Caused Anxiety. In Fact One Of The Drugs Caused A Warning To Pop Up On My Print Out From My Pharmacy
