Gym membership?

Hi all,
I have an appt at 24 Hour Fitness on Saturday to go check it out. I figure with the IC issues, I'm looking for...

...not a long term contract (am afraid, what if the IC comes back as bad as before?)
...an elliptical trainer machine (have tried that, it's ok, I think)
...a rowing machine (think that might be ok?)

Anything else you'd ask for/about?

Hi Kadi,

I go to an all women's gym here in Australia, and one of the things I asked about early on was the location of all the toilets. I do aerobics classes which are on the upstairs level, and the the main toilets are downstairs, so if I needed to pee in the middle of a class, I would have had to go all the way downstairs to do so. I explained to them my situation and I now can use the upstairs staff toilet (close to the aerobics room) if I need to.

I've also had my gym program adapted when certain exercises put too much pressure on my bladder, just by explaining to them my situation. And the instructors have been great.

You may also want to check into some weight lifting. I'm on the small side, so some of the weight machines are too awkward for me to use, but I do use small free weights.
Good idea about checking out on the nearest bathroom.
