Has anyone had Hellerwork PT

I am considering going to a urologist who works with Hellerwork physical therapists. Has anyone been through this kind of PT and if so, how is different from the more standard kind? Or from myofascial release?

Do a search on the IC-Network doctor chats. There is a doctor who did a chat on this board years ago who uses Hellerwork. In 2001, I tried to find this type of PT, but couldn't.

I currently go to PT but I don't know if it is Hellerwork....I will have to check into it.

Isn't Hellerwork and myofascial release the same thing? I want to get PT for my PFD, but am so confused on what type to be looking for. Anyone have any input or suggestions?

I had hellerwork several years ago and after $500 I quit, because it was relaxing but didn't help IC and I didn't want to spend more money. It was myofacial release but she was so focused on my whole body and not so much pelvic work. Maybe I should have done the whole thing but thought I could spend my money better elsewhere.
