surgery tomorrow

I had to go off all my meds - the last three weeks have been horrible!! I am having a sacral stimulator put in tomorrow. My doc called at about 5:30 and said that I needed to call him right away. By the time I called him - he said false alarm. He was calling me to tell me my neurostimulator was not there yet but they had just delivered it right before I called him!!!!!! :yikes: I was going to scream because I don't think I could wait to next week. I don't remember being in this much pain before!! My bladder hurts so bad - plus pelvic spasms, plus abnormal nerves!! So frustrating - but my trial was a success so I am hoping that my permenant one works as well! :dance:

Well, I got all the way there and had an infection of some kind. Went over to my docs office - ended up in the hospital on gent, amp, & clindamycin. NPO since that tuesday - finally had surgery on friday. Ended up with a laparotomy - with massively fibroitic adhesions and a pelvic abcess. My bladder was adhered to my vaginall cuff and massively disfigured with tons of scar tissue. I got a suprapubic cath. Finally out Monday night. finally home. Looking at six to eight weeks recovery. Stimulator can go in - in about two more weeks. Bladder spasms and urethral spasms have been severe since surgery. But the stimultor should help those calm down according to my doc. I do everything massively backwards. Looking for a end to my misery!!!! :rolleyes:
