How In The World Am I Going to Get My Flu Shot?

My doctor won't be getting a flu shot, nor will a close by pharmacy and all purpose store. The other store is farther away. My partner will take me. However they say to get there an hour early just in case they run out. Then I have to stay in line. My partner said holding my place in line won't be a problem. However some of these stores won't let you use the restroom no matter what, even with a Medic Alert bracelet.

Is there a fast food place nearby? That is my usual remedy when I have to go right now. Like a McDonalds or something? Or a gas station? Maybe a park? Maybe use a depends? I've never tried that as an option. Not sure I could let myself go that way, still, IC wins out every time. Sometimes I think I know every bathroom between my home and anywhere I want to go.

I need to check it out. I'm not sure if there is a fast food place nearby. Maybe something. I hate it when stores say I can't use the restroom because "their insurance doesn't cover it." Maybe I should call them first.

I got one of those"Medical Alert Restroom " Passes I carry in my wallet..I got it at the ICN store..I haven't had to use it, but I will if I need to, and if a place denies me access to the bathroom after I show my card you can bet I WILL make a loud complaint, so that all the store patrons can here me, and perhaps a letter to the editor of the local paper?

By all means telephone them to ask about restroom facilities. Our doctor wants us to wait until November 1 to get our flu shots --- I'm hoping there will be enough available by then.
