What strategies have you found to eat on campus. Some days, its unavoidable for me and I think that every fast food chain has a deal with my college, so not a healthy (safe) meal in sight!
I'm trying to keep granola bars in my bag to tide me over. Any other suggestions?
I carry some Pear Pear or Pear Blueberry fruit bars (available in ICN store on this website) to snack on. Also bottled water.
I don't know if your campus has a Subway sandwich store near you. I get a plain turkey sandwich (whole wheat bread, lettuce, a few cucumber slices, a few bell pepper slices) and eat that with 2 Preliefs (just in case the bread has preservatives). I can eat plain Lays potato chips (the "Classic" yellow bag).
I generally also do well with plain burgers & plain (just salt) fries, if I can't find a Subway.
Hope you find some things that work for you:)

I just did a lecture today on "Eating on the Run" so I just so happen to have some handouts. If you email me at JulieABeyerRD@aol.com, I will send them to you ok? LOTS of suggestions on them.
Hugs Julie B (I am a registered dietitian)
