Yep, just went to a psychic fair Saturday and had Quantum touch and Reiki done. Dunno if its just a placebo, but last couple days I have felt better. I have had reiki done before that too, and have felt better. Who knows, maybe it works or just puts you in a more positive state of mind. :)

I've been doing reike once a week for a few months now. I can't say that reike is helping me feel better, but it does put me in a better state of mind. I think a combination of meds, faith, reike and positive outlooks has helped me. I'm very relaxed after the reike sessions. liz

My mom uses Reiki & has tried it on me. I didn't feel whatever she said I should feel, and there was no change in my health. From what my mom says, I think people find it relaxing, and that can be very good when they're tense. Also, I think it's a form of emotional support that can be very helpful. I don't believe in Reiki, but I see that my mom is better when she gets together with friends & they treat one another. I think it's more psychological than anything else, but if it works...

HI Heather, I have used energy healing for many years, it has helped me but not cured me, I also recently had some accupressure done on me and that was very helpful to relieve pain, especially caused by tight muscles, My muscles get so tight my kidneys don't work right. It also does help to relax, somethat most of us really need. Finally it is very nuturing to have energy work and or massage. I have tried many, many things and the combination of most of the things is what helps me the most! Try what you feel might work and you will probably know right away if your body likes it or not! I have recently tried energy healing in the form of bioenergy balancing. It's a discipline of bodywork based on western medical principles of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry as well as eastern traditions of chi (body energy) and the meridiean/chakra system through which body energy travels.

Has anyone else had success with bioenergy balancing? I am writing a research paper for school on IC and energy healing and need some information from other IC sufferers.
