swimming

Hi everyone,
Have any of you experienced any problems swimming in either public pools or the ocean? I am (was) an avid swimmer in the ocean before being diagnosed in July. Now, since I am in an extreme flair, I'm wondering how my bladder would react if any salt ocean water should get up inside. I will just die if I'm told not to go in the water!!!!!!! I swim in the Bahamas, where the water is supposedly clean, but there is natural bacteria, of course, in warm water.

I have gone swimming in the ocean without too much problem... I just don't hang around too long in a wet swimsuit afterwards because that can be a breeding ground for all kinds of bacteria and yeast. Public pools tend to be heavily chlorinated, and I do have a bit of trouble with those -- basically, if it's not too too chlorinated I'll go in for a dip, but if it reeks of chlorine I tend to stay out of the water.
