Has anyone else ever been walking across the floor and have a stabbing pain in there abdomin? I was walking across the floor this morning and a stabbing pain that literally doubled me over and caused me to want to throw up. I have had this a few times in the past but this was a really scary thing.
Any help would be great. Thank you very much.

Kirsten,
I do have abdominal pain but I think with the vomiting you need to call your doctor and let them know what is happening. Take care and hope your feeling better,
Kelly

I agree it is time to contact your Dr. It is always the best thing to let them help you when you have pain like that. Feel better soon.

Absolutely you need to see your doctor very soon. Please call your primary physician and let them know what happened and to make that appointment.

Sending encouraging hugs,
Donna

I agree with the others. I do get abdomal pain but not severe like that. It's more of a dull ache. Call your doctor.

Everyone is very right. I have had experiences like yours because of my spasms...weather it was a bladder or digestive track spasm or both at once I don't know but it was very painful. The thing is if it is a new symptom for you you need to tell your doctor.

I have had that severe sharp pain before as well. It has been so bad that I had to crwal on the floor and was crying. I was lucky my mom was home when one happened. She was scared to death. Usually I take a pain pill and lay down. Normally it goes away. I have told my dr. They all think it's related to the IC. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's horrible. I understand how that sharp pain feels. It feels as if a knife was just stabed in your stomach. I hope the pain goes away. Chelsey
