I have been getting intense vaginal stabbing pains lately, where it even hurts to pee. I have V.V. but I've never had this with V.V. before. Anyone else get this?
Thanks
Jess

I just started getting a similar symptom and my doctor attributes it to my PFD and being constipated. Who knows!!! Although I gave myself an enema and it felt better!

I've had similar pains before, and they hurt badly!! Like Jamie said, it gets worse when I'm constipated, but sometimes I get it even when I've been going #2 just fine. I get it during IC flares sometimes too. I attributed it to the nerves down there misfiring, but I don't know if that's really the case or not.
Regardless, I'm sorry you're getting it and I hope it calms down soon :grouphug:

I forgot to mention that taking a warm bath might help. My uro is a big believer in them and it seems to help sometimes. Don't stay in too long, maybe 15 minutes or so!! Hope you feel better!

I used to get those pains, but haven't for a long time now. When they hit me, I found that if I used a very warm, wet, hand towel compress it seemed to calm it down.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I see a new urologist (a female!!) on October 7th and I am going to ask her about this. Keep your fingers crossed that she's good. My main urologist who dx'd me retired, my stim uro is an hour away and won't treat pain, so I am hoping she will help me, as I have no pain meds and flare after flare. :(
Hugs and love,
Jess
