I was wondering if the sun can cause people with IC not to feel well. I know that whenever I'm out in the sun I feel horrible. I work at a day care and most of the time we are outside. I drink a lot of water. I thought maybe some of the medication I'm on was making me not feel good. However, none of my medication says the sun can be a problem. Should I ask my uro about this and see what she says? Or is this just something else that is totoally not related to IC at all? Thanks Chelsey
Ditropan & Elavil can both reduce sweating, so high temperatures can be a problem if you're on either of those. I've never done well when it's super hot, but it's even worse since IC (prob because of those 2 meds)

I know what you mean. I feel bad in the hot sun too. Like I'm a fly under the magnifying glass. I didn't feel like that until a major flare this summer and started taking narcotics for pain.

I'm not on any medication yet for my IC. I am on some other types of medication for other things though. I think I'll go ahead and ask my uro about it and see what she says. Thanks Chelsey :)
