Ortho-McNeil is my enemy right now.

So I have been waiting to get my Elmiron for over a month now. They tried to ship it on 8/12 but they didn't have the doctor's state license number. FINALLY they got it after all the waiting and I finally called to see what the hold up was.

They've been telling me it's going to ship for 2 weeks and it was on it's way there. Then I call today and they tell me more stuff is wrong with the doctor information. WHY didn't they tell me this in the last 2 weeks, multiple times that I called?!?! I now only have my Elmiron until Saturday morning....the guy on the phone asked me if there was any way i can get a weeks worth...I was like, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? WHY do you think I applied for this program and got accepted for it...I OBVIOUSLY cannot afford it.

I can't get in touch with my nurse at the urologist's office until Thursday, because she is off tomorrow. I was crying today, because if i even miss one of my doses...within a few hours i am in A LOT of pain. Do urologist offices normally have samples of Elmiron? I am hoping yes, to cover me until Ortho-McNeil gets it's **** straight, otherwise I am completely screwed.

I am so upset right now over this.

I hope something turns around for you very soon. Even though your nurse at the uros office wont be there, is there someone else u can talk to there? Or an emergency/dr's answering service you could get ahold of? If possible I would talk to the uro office, maybe someone couldnt take their Elmiron and gave it to them for if someone needs it, sometimes ppl do that, because the pharmacies cant take them back. Sayin a prayer for you.
