This year I have been unable to wear my contacts at all. It seems when I put them in my eyes they dry out and hurt as much as the bladder does. It seems that over the last couple of years my eyes have gotten worse as far as the dryness goes. Even the drops do not help, so I stopped wearing my contacts. I hate my glasses but what the hay I don't want to kill anyone while driving so I wear them.

I know exactly how you feel i can barely wear my contacts either. The longest i can wear them without a lot of pain in my eyes is a hour.
