Hi friends:

I wrote about 2 weeks ago -that I had a terrible flare after being symptom free for about 2 years...........on NO medicine just the IC diet and yoga..............

Well 2 weeks ago I ate some bean soup and it came on strong.........pressure, frequency, no sleep etc.

Went to dr. NO INFECTION..............

So, I went to my urologist hadn't see him in about 3 years...........
I told him I was going on a long road trip and I probably need medicine.....

I normally do NOT do medicine.........but, I knew I would have to have something

So he gave me UTA capsules, Atarax for sleep, and Oxytrol Patch..........

Ok.........I started my period last week, all symptoms went away.........does this every time............now they are BACK>.................pressure, frequency and no sleep.

I'm going on my long road trip in 4 days...........Texas to New YOrk...............how am I going to do this..........????

I tried two of the UTA capsules and nothing has improved, I have the same frequency and bladder pressure and it actually feels a little worse.........

Does UTA capsules help with the bladder frequency pressure feeling?

B/c they are not helping me............

I haven't tried the Atarax yet nor the Oxytrol patch...............

I guess i should -I'm just so so scared to try meds............

I'm a very natural person and I was actually healing myself for two years with the diet and yoga.............

I"M soooooooooooooo sad that all of this has returned..................I get so so down when I flare............I forgot how awful it is to flare............its' the worse feeling...............

Please somebody advice.............

The UTA pills are NOT helping....................just turning my urine blue.........

thanks friends.

Was going to ask you what uta pills were.. must be the vicodine kicking in.... OK UTA anti spasam pills. or as I call them my lil pee blue pills.... They only help me when I am having spasms during a flare.. the Atarax, I think is an anti-depressent, which helps pain. I would try that, and of course you know the other is a narco for pain..... Please give them both a try before you vacation....
I am sorry you had a flare and so close to a vacation.... Hope you are feeling beter soon and let us know how those meds work..

Sorry you are having a bad time. You might want to ask about Ditropan or something like that for the frequency while traveling, at least. Hope all goes well for you. :dogrun: Kathi
