:toilet: I have had 2 bilaterial superior hypogastric blocks or nerve blocks w/ no pain relief at all. I still have 2 take the oxycontin & lortab 10/50 daily 4 the pain. I still can't work due 2 the pain, & I just got denied 4 social security disability again! They expect I should be able 2 work even on the strong narcotics I take! Are they freakin crazy! It is just crappy of them, 2 deny me. I really need it. The only thing that I think is starting 2 help my pain at night is a med called gabitrol. I take 4mg at night cuz after 2 hours of taking it I am out like a light! But I no longer have 2 take pain meds at night. That's a plus. Then I was driving 2 the gas station & I stopped at a stop sign & then my car wouldn't move! Everyone stopped 2 look at me but not one stopped 2 help me! Not a single person!!!! Why is everyone so nasty- nobody could ask me if I needed help. I was luckily only a few blocks from home, reverse was the only gear that would work so I drove it home in reverse. I waited till nobody else was on the road then drove home in reverse! :hmm: :help: :help: :help: It was the transmission & that costs soooooooo much $ it is costing $1214.55. Can u believe it? My boyfriend & I came up w/ $300.00. My parents r putting the rest on their credit card, & we're gonna give them at least $50.00 a week until it's paid off. What else could go wrong? I am so depressed, that I cry every day. This is a horrible disease & such a painful one too. Why won't the pain go away?

i'm so sorry you are still having such a hard time. i'm very thankful your parnets are helping you threw this tho.
how about checking out the low income board in hopes to find some place that will help you get your medicine or apply for medicaid with your inc.
get a lawyer that want charge you anything unless they win your case for your ssdi.
you can find the low income board by looking at the bottom of my post here and get the website or look at the top of the page when you sign on and jill has a link to where you can find the website Oh and some churches in your area may have some resorces to help you get your medicine for the mth.
in either case i hope you find some help if all this fails please let your doctor know about your money problems in hope they can give you samples of medicine or apply threw a drug company to get you some help or at least change your medicine to a cheaper brand.
please let us know how things come out hon.
I wish there was something more i could do for you.
sending you many hugs and prayers

Don't let those insurance people rule your life. Reapply, reapply, reapply. I know you are tired, but you must keep fighting. Head up, head up! They don't know your pain!

Please don't give up, honey. Please get a lawyer like the others are saying - sometimes that's the only way to win. I'm so sorry for all you are going through - it's awful the nerve blocks didn't work...
Sometimes I wonder why more of us don't just reach a point where we say "get rid of this bladder, I'll pee in a bag from now on..."
Blessings, Lori

No one stops to help anyone where I live (Wash DC) either. I feel for you girl, I know how everything can seem to go wrong. I have found that I am a more caring person. I stop and help anyone because now I have seen what true suffering is. Dont give up things will get better.
