I'm having PT trigger point release, both ex- and internal.
WHAT I'M ABOUT TO TELL YOU, PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TRYING THIS!

I HAVE BEEN USING VALIUM 15-20 mg. intravaginally for the last 8 days and have not felt this well in at least 10 months!

I gave my gyn the Brookoff Q & A for the ICA about this and she will Rx it for me! I had such a flare for 40 hrs. beginning with when I left the first PT app't that I called my PCP on the way home and got Valium 5 mg. Rxd. After I read the Dr. Brookoff Q&A, I couldn't resist trying intact Valium intravaginally! IT WORKED TERRIFICALLY! I had NO FLARE after PT the second time and my wonderful PT Holly was impressed with how much less noticeable the trigger points were.

Since my gyn had done the PT referral and I have been her patient over 10 years, I faxed her my request to get more Valiium Rxd for intravaginal. I also gave her links to read about Dr. Brookoff's use of intravaginal Valium for PFD. I have a very good relationship with my gyn and usually even do some of my silly accents which she laughs at and hopefully enjoys.

Well, she called me after I faxed her all the info and was ELATED that I had shared it with her! She will be trying it for another PFD patient that she has not been able to help. To know that I contributed in a small way to helping another PFD/CPP patients pain made my week! And how great is it that I havae that kind of trust between my gyn and I? I am so grateful to this wonderful woman!

Today, I walked around for a couple of hours at a street fair and the mall PAIN FREE!!! NO NEED TO PEE FOR 5 1/2 hours! AND NOT EVEN THE URGE TO PEE! SO much of what seemed to be new IC symptoms have turned out to be PFD instead!

I am choosing to use oral Valium tabs rather than compounded suppositories due to the cost. My latest method is to crush up the Valium and combine it with glycerine suppositories. . I had a leftover plastic tampon type yeast medication applicator. So, I had told my gyn that I was going to try using a plain glycerin suppository mixed in with the Valium, which she was fine with, of course.

I broke off a small piece of the glycerin suppository and scooped up some of the crushed Valium and layered it in that way 3 times. The intact tablets had given me a tiny bit of burning. The glycerin is soothing, and there isn't enough of it to be messy.

I am just ecstatic! And, last night I began writing my second jazz composition. I am so so very grateful to have such wonderful doctors, PT and to have responded so well to this.

Dr. Brookoff uses 10-20 mg Valium intravaginally up to 3 times a day. I am only using it 1-2 times per day.

I HOPE this will help some of you. I read about it here first. So many patients here are so knowledgeable!

I'm also sleepiing through the night 7- 10 hours.
