Symptom of meds?

I am getting twitching in one of my eyes. I have had this before, months ago which lasted several weeks. I believe I was on hydroxyzine at the time and who knows what else. This last week I tried Peridium Plus for about 4 days. The twitching started up again. I have been off the PPlus for a good 5 days but still have twitching. I need to keep a better log of what these meds are doing to me, but I am curious to know if hydroxyzine, PPlus, Ditropan, and maybe the Oxytrol patch have some of the same ingredients? I saw an Opthamologist last year, who didn't have any comments to make on any of the meds I take.

Not sure is this is drug related or not. I get those twitches sometimes, also. They can last for days. It's muscle related for me. Pretty common from what I understand. :)

I have an annoying twitch in my eye when my blood pressure goes up. Drove me crazy when preparing my wedding and when first diagnosed with IC (and if i over consume caffine- a double whammy pain and a twitch). It goes away when my pressure goes back down. I never asked my MD about it though? My blood pressure was really high (as was my cholesteral) when first diagnosed but has since gone WAY down (cholesteral too) so no more twitching? Hope you get an answer.

My mom gets these spasms or twitches. She avoids caffeine and alcohol. Her's are really bad, her one eye completly closes when she is symptomatic. She goes to U of M for a botox shot in her eyelid and eye, which stops the spasm. I guess thats whay botox works for some in the bladder paralyzes the muscle. Those with severe retention, could never do botox, according to my uro, exact words "not for you".

I get them too, when I am stressing..had it happen a couple weeks ago when I was flaring, lasted 4 days and went away. I had it for weeks after my sister died.

Thanks for your replies. I have recently noticed my eye twitching during periods of stress. This last month I have had a nervous stomache as I have been stressed out. I have been flaring and my eye has been out of control twitching. Now, thankfully I am calmer, feeling better, and no more twitching. I'm not sure this is the case every time, but I was able to put the connection together these last weeks.

I do know that stress can contribute to a number of ailments. My sister in law has MS and she flares up when she is under stress. It took her several years to make that connection.

I get eye twitches once in a while.. drives ya bonkers.. never did figure out what it was from.. If you figure it out let me know.. I take vicodine, flexeril, urised and ambien.... maybe I should read up on side effects....
