Hello to all,
This is my first post. As a recently diagnosed IC'er (diagnosed in July), I'm doing as much research on IC as I can. Every time I find something that has helped or "cured" someone I try to write it down. The problem is, there are so many different treatments and what works for one doesn't necessarily have any effect on another. So what does one try first?
I know there are the basic treatments which seem to be posted on most IC sites (oral medications, DMSO treatments, bladder distension, etc.) But just browsing through this message board, I'm finding folks that have had tremendous success through other methods. (Like, MSM, Nexium, cortisone cream).
It seems to me that there should be somewhere out there, a big huge list that tells about all the possible medicines, procedures, herbs, etc. and how many people have responded to each. Does anyone know of one? Anyone know the treatment(s) that have helped the most people with IC?
